SMS Terms & Conditions

These terms govern the text-message program operated by Atomicity LLC (dba SteadyVet™) on behalf of the veterinary practices that use our service.
Program description
SteadyVet sends text messages on behalf of independent veterinary practices to the people who call them. When a call to the practice is missed or received after hours, you may receive an SMS to return your call, confirm an appointment or callback time, or provide emergency-referral information. This is a customer-care program, not a marketing program.
How you opt in
You consent to receive text messages when you call a veterinary practice powered by SteadyVet and provide your phone number, or when you give your number to the practice directly. Consent is captured per caller.
By calling or providing your phone number to a SteadyVet-powered veterinary practice, you agree to receive SMS text messages related to your call, appointment, or callback. Msg & data rates may apply. Msg frequency varies. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.
How to opt out
You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message. You may also reply UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT. After you send one of these, we will send a single confirmation message and then send you no further texts. To rejoin, reply START, YES, or UNSTOP.

Message frequency
Message frequency varies. Messages are sent in response to your call or your reply, so the number you receive depends on how often you contact the practice.
Cost
There is no charge from SteadyVet for the messages. Message and data rates may apply. Charges are billed by and payable to your mobile service provider. Contact your carrier for details about your plan.
Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and is not guaranteed.
Privacy
We respect your privacy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. See our Privacy Policy.
Not an emergency service
SteadyVet is a reception and message-taking service. It does not provide veterinary advice, triage, diagnosis, or emergency care, and messages are not monitored in real time. If your pet has an emergency, contact an emergency veterinary hospital directly. Do not rely on text messages to report an emergency.
Supported devices
The program is available on most major U.S. carriers. Not all mobile devices or handsets may support the program, and we may not be able to deliver messages to every device.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. We will revise the effective date above when we do.
