SteadyVet™ is a service operated by Atomicity LLC ("SteadyVet," "we," "us," or "our"), an Oklahoma limited liability company. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
SteadyVet provides after-hours and missed-call front-desk services to independent veterinary practices. We handle information on behalf of those practices, our clients.
Information we collect
- Caller information. When you call a veterinary practice that uses SteadyVet, we may collect your name, phone number, and the details you provide about your request, such as your pet's name or the reason for your call.
- Message content. Text messages you exchange with a practice through our service.
- Call records. Time, date, and duration of calls, and a written summary or transcript of the call. We do not sell or publish these records.
- Website information. If you contact us or book a call through this website, we collect the information you submit, such as your name, email address, and practice name.
How we use information
- To return your call or text on behalf of the veterinary practice you contacted.
- To capture and pass along appointment or callback requests to the practice.
- To provide emergency-referral information when appropriate.
- To deliver summaries of calls and messages to the practice.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the service.
- To comply with legal obligations.
SMS and mobile information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
When you call a veterinary practice powered by SteadyVet and provide your phone number, you consent to receive text messages related to your call, appointment, or callback. Message frequency varies. How we share information
We share your information only as follows:
- With the veterinary practice you contacted. This is the purpose of the service.
- With service providers who help us operate the service, such as our telephony, messaging, and software platform vendors. They may use your information only to perform services for us.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of any person.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.
Data retention
We retain caller and message information for as long as needed to provide the service to the veterinary practice and to meet our legal and recordkeeping obligations, after which we delete it or de-identify it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
- Opt out of texts. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts.
- Access, correction, or deletion. Contact us at hello@getsteadyvet.com and we will respond as required by applicable law. If your information was collected on behalf of a veterinary practice, we may direct your request to that practice.
Not a medical or emergency service
SteadyVet is a reception and message-taking service. It does not provide veterinary advice, triage, diagnosis, or emergency care. If your pet has an emergency, contact an emergency veterinary hospital directly.
Children's privacy
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the effective date above when we do.
